Documents normally required for academic enrollment

There are a number of documents that might be required for academic enrollment, depending on the students situation. This list is not comprehensive, and, in fact a school or university can request other documents, according at their discretion.

Some of the documents requested by academic institutions are:

a) Diploma
b) Certificate of completion
c) Transcript
d) Syllabus (also known as course outline)
e) Vaccination certificate
f) Affidavit of support
g) Bank statements (for immigration and financial aid purposes)
h) Statements from accountants (for immigration and financial aid purposes)
i) statements from universities or schools explaining grading systems
j) Tax returns of sponsor (for immigration and financial aid purposes)

Actual academic documents might require academic evaluations, which are different than translations. Certified translations must not be interpretative, while academic evaluations are inherently interpretative. There are several academic evaluations in the U.S.A., but in our estimation the best is World Education Services (wes.org). You must send to the academic evaluation company a copy of your originals as well as our translations.
